It all started with a bus in a paddock...6 hours from home!
It's been a long time coming, we were always dreaming of a simpler life, stuck in jobs that paid the bills.
In June 2018, we stumbled upon an old bus that had been sitting in a paddock for 10 years! It had great bones and just needed a little bit of love and a whole lot of work. Every spare second (there weren't many!) we had was spent transforming the space. Little did we know this would take us two years, with many highs and lows!
Fast forward to 2020 when the bus was finally livable, our love of travel and hope for escape was crushed by the pandemic. So, we did the next best thing, we sold everything we had except for the bus and bought a vacant 40-acre block 2 hours away from the city in the hopes of escaping the rat race and enjoy living in our bus. There we were the life we had always dreamed of within reach but still unable to enjoy it, as our time was consumed by our jobs.
In 2022 we started our journey to a simpler, more meaningful life. James transitioned to a work from home job, and Jay to a job in a nearby town. We also had our first attempts in affiliate marketing and the e-commerce world. After attempting to go out and do it completely on our own, 1000's of Instagram reels & TikTok videos later, we were lost, tired and ready to throw in the towel.
Thankfully we stumbled upon a simple, no bullshit, step by step solution thanks to Jade and Kev at The Freedom Affiliate. They're helping us grow in the digital space and giving us the framework to create our own successful online business.
